PURPOSE OF THE EVENT
iTalenti - The Italian Music Contest - II Edition "has as its main mission to offer a musical experience that aims at the artistic growth of all participating artists and to present and promote, to the public and to those working in the music industry sector, the new recruits and new artistic projects of the European music scene, without preclusions relating to musical genres, and to offer artists support and professional guidance for the construction of a professional path in the world of music.

ARTICLE 1 REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
To participate in "iTalenti" - The Italian Music Contest - II Edition "it is necessary:
fill in the online registration form in the "Registration and Regulations" section on the official website of the event www.italenti.net
Filling out the online form is the only way to participate in "iTalenti The Italian Music Contest".


ARTICLE 2 ARTISTIC CATEGORIES PARTICIPANTS


INTERPRETING SINGERS
Artists (singles) aged 16 and over (born before 2006) who offer the performance of cover songs, published or unpublished;
SONG WRITERS
Artists (individuals) aged 16 and over (born before 2006) who propose the performance of their own pieces (in which they actively participated in the writing and / or composition of the same), both published and unpublished;
JUNIOR SINGERS
Artists born between 2006 and 2016 * who offer their own songs or covers, published or unreleased. The Juniores category is in turn divided into:
- Baby Singer (* singers born between 2016 and 2012);
- Junior Singer (* singers born between 2011 and 2006);
ORIGINAL BAND
Bands consisting of a minimum of 2 elements, with no age limits, which offer the performance of original, published or unpublished pieces of any musical genre;
RAPPER
Artists and Crew, regardless of age, who propose their own songs (in which they actively participated in the writing and / or composition of the same), both published and unpublished;
DJ
DJs (singles), without age limits, offering a DJ set of any musical genre;
DJ PRODUCER
DJ Producers (singles), without age limits, who propose a DJ set of any musical genre as long as they are of their own production;

PARTICIPATION OF MINOR ARTISTS
The participation of underage artists, individuals or members of a band is allowed. Underage Participants must be accompanied by a parent or an adult responsible person who has their own valid identification document, authorization from a parent and a copy of a valid identity document of the parent.

PARTICIPATION IN STEP 1 - SMART AUDITION
To participate in the selections of the Smart Audition the artist / duo / will have to pay the amount of € 69.00 (+ 4% VAT) while the bands consisting of a minimum of 2 members will have to pay the amount of 99, 00 (+ 4% VAT) for secretarial expenses and registration to the event through the payment options listed below in the paragraph "Payment methods";

WHY DO YOU PAY?


By making the payment indicated, the Artist / Band will participate by right in the selections of iTalenti - The Italian Music Contest - The Edition and will be entitled to:
Listening and evaluation by the artistic commission of the iTalenti Music Contest of the demo recording or link sent by the Artist / Band
Receipt of the evaluation form on the date of the live meeting
Certificate of participation with medal or tablet of merit
Dedicated artist assistance and advice

The payment must be made within 5 days of sending the registration form.

In the event that the Artist / Band should register for the event on a date that is too close to the call for the Live Auditions, the organization, due to a short timeframe, cannot guarantee participation in the online consultation and the artist will go directly to the step of the Live Auditions.


The fee paid is non-refundable. In the event of events not attributable to the organization that prejudice the realization of artistic selections, training courses and / or musical events related to the festival, the organization will take care to inform the artists about the new methods or the postponement of the events and the new scheduled dates.


ARTICLE 5 METHOD OF PAYMENT


The Artist / Band can make the payment using the following methods:

IMPORTANT
Once the payment has been made, it is requested to send a copy of the receipt by email to info@italenti.net

SEND DEMO
The selection is made by listening to an audio or audio / video recording (hereinafter referred to as DEMO) of the participating Artist / Band.
To support the selection, participants must send the organization a DEMO (an audio or audio / video recording or link) containing a single song lasting no more than 4 minutes (5 minutes for the Original Band category); the participants of the Dj and Dj Producer categories must send a video in which a Dj set of a maximum duration of 5 minutes is proposed, mixing a minimum of 3 songs.
The demo must be sent online via the event website. The link for sending the demo will be sent by email to the address indicated by the participating Artist / Band.
The DEMO can be sent in one of the following formats:
in audio format (formats accepted mp3)
in audio / video format (accepted formats avi / mpeg / wmv / mp4)
by sending a link to a video on the web (youtube, vimeo, facebook, Instagram, Soundcloud, Google Drive, DropBox).

The organization will confirm receipt of the DEMO to the participating Artist / Band by sending a confirmation email to the address indicated at the time of registration.
EVALUATION AND COMMUNICATION OF THE OUTCOME
The technical commission will listen to and evaluate the DEMOs. The organization will send to the organization, via email and whatsapp group chat of the commission, the outcome decreed by the commission together with the judgments expressed, by artistic parameter in the listening and evaluation phase, within 5 days following receipt of the DEMO. The evaluation will remain secret until the live match.
PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANCY at the personal meeting
In order to offer an opportunity for artistic growth to all participants in the event, the commission will offer personalized artistic advice to each participating Artist / Band.
The consultations will be held in person
Participating artists will receive an email notice at least 7 days in advance of the date of the consultation, containing the date, time and all useful information to better prepare for the meeting with the commission.
* MINOR ARTISTS
For underage artists, during the consultation in person, the presence of a parent or an adult responsible person is required who has his / her valid identification document, the authorization from a parent and a copy of a valid identification document of the parent

ARTICLE 7 STEP 2 - LIVE AUDITION
The Live Auditions of iTalenti Music Contest, scheduled between June and September 2022, take place in about 15 Italian cities.

The Live Auditions will be held live in the presence of the artistic commission that will take care of the evaluation of the participating artists / bands. The performance of a song (of a Dj set for the DJ and DJ Producer categories) will be requested, at the free choice of the Artist / Band
The Live Auditions will take place in the following ways:
CONVOCATION BY APPOINTMENT
Live Auditions are scheduled by appointment, avoiding queues for the Artist / Band at the time of participation.

The artists participating in the Live Auditions will receive a convocation email at least 10 days in advance of the audition date, with date, time and location together with all the useful information to prepare well and in the right time.

After the convocation, the Artist / Band has the possibility to make a maximum of one shift of stage, date or time, based on availability and the proposals of the organization.
AUDITION MODE
The Live Auditions will take place in the following ways:
CATEGORIES INTERPRETERS, SINGERS, RAPPER, BABY SINGER, JUNIOR SINGER, DJ / PRODUCER, BEL CANTO ITALIANO, BAND.
The artists must perform live, with the help of a backing track in wav / mp3 format (to be delivered on USB support); alternatively accompanying himself with an instrument. The backing track cannot contain the lead vocal track. The piece must have a maximum duration of 4 minutes.
ORIGINAL BAND CATEGORY
The bands will have to perform live. You will be asked to perform a piece of a maximum duration of 5 minutes. The use of audio sequences is allowed.

CATEGORIES DJ AND DJ PRODUCER
The artists must perform with a DJ set lasting no more than 5 minutes. The Artistic Commission will require a minimum of 3 mixed songs.

TECHNICAL INSTRUMENTS
Artists must independently provide all the personal equipment necessary for their performance, with the exception of the following equipment provided by the organization:
1 complete basic drum kit (with snare drum, single pedal, cymbals: 2 crashes, 1 ride, 1 hi-hat including mechanics);
N ° 1 keyboard / digital piano;
N ° 2 guitar amplifiers (head + cabinet + footswitch);
N ° 1 bass amplifier (head + cabinet);
Audio and lighting system;
Microphones and spies.

LIVE CONSULTANCY
At the end of the audition, the Artist / Band will be able to discuss with the artistic commission to receive advice on the performance presented during the audition.
OPTIONAL TRAINING COURSES: Dr Label Academy
Musical training courses called "Dr Label Acedemy" will be made available to all artists, of any artistic category, who will have access to the LIVE AUDITIONS. The courses, for those wishing to take advantage, will take place in all the Italian capitals and major provinces. Live Auditions will be held within the course programs.

COMMUNICATION OF RESULTS
The passage to the next phase will be established on the basis of a national artistic ranking, through which the national finalists will be selected.
The outcome of the LIVE AUDITIONS will be communicated at the end of all the Live Auditions, by publishing the names of those who will have access to the next phase, National Finals, on the official website www.italenti.net and on the media channels of the event.

The commission will select a minimum of:

N ° 20 finalist artists for the category "Singers Performers";
N ° 20 finalist artists for the "Cantautori" category; N "20 finalist artists for the" Bel Canto "category,
N ° 15 finalist artists for the "Rapper" category;
N ° 10 finalist bands for the "Original Band" category;
N ° 20 finalist artists for the “Junior Singer” category;
N ° 10 finalist artists for the "Baby Singer" category;
N ° 10 finalist artists for the “DJ” category;
N ° 10 finalist artists for the Dj Producer category ".

ARTICLE 10
GENERAL RULES FOR ARTISTIC SELECTION
The judgment of the Artistic Commission is unquestionable.
For the technical and artistic directives of the exhibition, it will be the responsibility of the organization to send a communication by email with all the technical and artistic details.
Each Artist / Band is required to provide a valid email address to receive organizational communications and information on the event from the organization. The organization is not responsible in any way for the failure to receive communications.
The organization expressly reserves the right to exclude them from the festival at any time in the event of non-compliance and / or non-compliance with these regulations by members.
The absence of an Artist / Band on the day and time established for the audition may result in his exclusion from the competition.
By registering, the participating artists / bands guarantee, relieving the organization of any liability, not to violate the rights of third parties with their performance.

ARTICLE 12
DATA PROCESSING AND DISCLAIMERS

IMAGE DISCLAIMER
All participants grant a free release for image rights relating to participation in the festival, with the aim of making any photographic, television and / or audio / video recordings, also made by third parties authorized by the organization, on film, tape or any other medium and to use, including through authorized third parties, the above filming and / or recordings, both in its entirety and partially, on television, radio, Internet, audiovisual, etc. in any form and way and by any technical means, in Italy and abroad.

DATA PROCESSING
Pursuant to articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR 2016/679, laying down provisions for the protection of the processing of personal data, the participant gives his consent to the processing of his personal data, directly or even through third parties, as well as for the complete execution of this regulation, to possibly elaborate: a) research studies, statistics and market surveys; b) to send advertising material and commercial information relating to the festival. ARTICLE 13
During the period of validity of this regulation, the organization, at its sole discretion, may make additions and changes for organizational and functional needs. The organization may also, for unforeseen or supervening events, introduce changes and additions to protect and safeguard the artistic level of the Festival, without prejudice to the spirit of the premises and the organization of the event. These articles are an integral part of the general regulation of the "iTalenti Music contest - The Italian Edition". Therefore, with regard to the points not reviewed, we will refer to the regulation itself, expressly accepting in all its parts for acknowledgment.
